Urban MTBO is back in 2009!
The Urban MTBO is back after the huge success of last years event. teams of 2 will have 3 hours to race around Wagga to find over 40 hidden checkpoints. Its open to all ages and will be a family friendly event, although riders under 15 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
The Race HQ will again be the Wagga Beach where riders can cool off after the event before enjoying the post race BBQ.

Event Details:
- Date: Sunday October 25, 2009
- Time: Event will commence at 2pm and finish at 5pm. Registrations will be taken from 1pm.
- Cost: $20 per team for MTBA licence hholders. Social memberships available on the day for $5
- Race HQ: Wagga Beach, Johnston St.
Event Rules:
- All riders must adhere to all NSW Road Rules regarding bicycling. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the event.
- Teams must check in back at Event centre before 5pm. 10 points will be deducted from Team score for every minute after that time.
- Children under 15 MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
- Mandatory Individual Equipment: Appropriate bicycle, Aust. Standards approved helmet, basic repair kit, and minimum 1L of water.
- Mandatory Team Equipment: 1 Working mobile phone, change for pay phone, 2 pens or pencils.
- Recommended equipment- Basic first aid kit, spare tubes,
- All competitors must report to Event Centre at Wagga Beach on finishing or abandoning the event.
- Teams must visit ALL the checkpoints together.
- Event organisers must see MTBA License on day of event or competitor will be asked to complete a Social Membership.
