MTB Wagga 2010 Winter Series
Please contact a committee member if you need to change the date you are helping out. See Race Director Checklist by clicking Race Director Duties_v1_2009 for detailed information of what is required to do before, during and after the race.
- Races commence at 9:30am with rego open from 8:30am.
- Cost is $5 + MTBA licence or MTBA Day licence for $15 ($5 entry includes a free BBQ at the end of the race)
- There will be a 90 minute and 45 minute option and most venues will also have a Beginner/Under 12′s track which will be a 30 minute ride.
- The track will be approximately 5-7 km in length and riders will aim to do as many laps as they can in the time frame. Laps completed after the time has elapsed will count.
- There will be male and female open and male and female junior categories in the 90 min and 45 min events.

2010 RAMBO (Riverina Alpine Mountain Bike Open) Interclub Series

Please note that this is not a series for Elite level riders but is open to all club members who wish to enjoy riding other local club tracks, meet new people and have some fun. All levels of riders are catered for with the various categories.

Track: Pominglarna 6 Hour course – this is a trial event for the main event and a great opportunity for riders to race the 6 Hour course prior to April 11th.

Sunday 21st February – Social Ride at Tumut
Meet 9am at Tumut MTB Park (Sydney street near State Forest Sign). Tumut riders will take different level groups of riders on their fantastic MTB tracks and will finish with a BBQ lunch. More info on main webpage to come.
Summer Series Calender 2009/2010
The Summer Series will be back again in 2009/2010 and will be held on Thursday nights starting at 6:30pm. This is always a very relaxed and casual event and gives riders the opportunity to catch up after work or school and ride for 30-40 mins at the most on some fun, short courses. It’s also a great way for kids and beginners to start mountain bike riding.
This year the event will be run on a handicap system with a set distance to be ridden and no formal timing. There will be 2 venues used: Brick Kiln Reserve in November and December and the new Silvalite Reserve loop in January and February (pending formal approval from the Dept of Lands).
Dan Davies and Ben Murphy will be the main organisers of the event but will have plenty of assistance from the club committee. More details to follow, but for now lock these dates into your calendar:
